Books & Bites: A virtual opportunity for Brooklyn Middle students, staff
Students and staff in the Brooklyn Middle community will soon have an opportunity to chat with Media Specialist Ms. Bernards through "Books & Bites," a virtual media center event.
This program will be hosted during student lunch periods. Ms. Bernards will share some book news, book talks and other book-related things, as well as engage students in talking about what they are reading or what they want to read. Keep an eye out for more information coming soon!
Other opportunities 'in the works'
Scholars interested in learning about other opportunities to get involved are encouraged to complete this online form to ensure they receive updates and more information as planning evolves for:
- Book Club: Students will read the same book
- Inspiration Zone: Ms. Bernards will host events where students learn to make or do something. For example, one theme may be origami; Ms. Bernards will then share resources and books so students can continue their own projects if they feel inspired!
