On Jan. 22, Brooklyn Middle STEAM School welcomed nearly 40 community members into the building as guest speakers for their annual College and Career Day. This year, the school’s career fair expanded from an eighth grade event only to an all-school event.

In July 2024, Osseo Area Schools' Adult Basic Education (ABE) received new grant funding from the State of Minnesota for Adults with Disabilities. The funding provides ABE with more tools and resources to support student success. Learn more about how the new funding has positively impacted students ABE.

Our district is temporarily moving to eLearning tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 21, because of the extreme cold expected during arrival time that the National Weather Service strongly suggests our community avoid for safety reasons.

Two Minneapolis fire chiefs visited Brooklyn Middle STEAM School (BMS) shortly before winter break began to share about their career and fire safety with students during a STEAM Explorers class, where BMS students can sign up to learn more about different careers from local professionals.

Osseo Area Schools’ Preschool and Prekindergarten Programs for the 2025-26 school year open for registration in January 2025. Programs are for children who will be three or four years-old on or before Sept. 1, 2025.
